The work of LEA MaPcV consists firstly in creating an everyday life situation in video form to promote mathematical modelling. Focusing on the transition from a real-life situation to a mathematical problem, we highlight how the creation of such a situation leads, from the design on, to consider the dialectical relationships between horizontal mathematisation and vertical mathematisation.
