The SAF Actuarial and Financial Sciences laboratory is one of the first insurance and quantitative finance laboratories with successful interdisciplinarity.
Particularly dynamic in the development of projects funded by the private or public sector, the unit brings together researchers from 5 distinct disciplinary fields with the main purpose of studying risk management. Disciplines of applied mathematics and actuarial science remains the strong points, while the economic and management sciences provide a broad and multidisciplinary vision and consideration of the question of risk management in companies.
